Privacy notice

Short version: this is a static site with no accounts, no cookies of our own, no analytics and no third-party scripts. The only thing you can send us is a correction, and we keep your email only until it is resolved.

What this site is about

This directory publishes information about companies, not individuals. It does not process personal data of people who verify their age. Company policies, certificates and regulator decisions are not personal data. Nothing on the site identifies a person who has verified their age with any service.

What we collect

• Correction form. The entry name, what you say is wrong, a URL and, if you choose to give one, your email address. The form sends an email to the editor and stores nothing on the site. Lawful basis: our legitimate interest in keeping the register accurate and giving services and vendors a right of reply. Your email is kept until the correction is resolved and then deleted. If the email service is unavailable, the form opens your own mail app instead and nothing passes through this site at all.
• Server logs. The site is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes standard request logs (IP address, user agent, page requested, time) to serve and protect the site. Cloudflare acts as our processor; retention follows Cloudflare's standard settings. We do not combine these logs with anything you send us.
• Nothing else. No accounts, no newsletters, no tracking pixels, no analytics, no session recording. Every page is served with a Content Security Policy that only allows connections back to this site, so no third-party script can run or send anything. If advertising or analytics is ever added, this page will change first and a consent banner with an equally easy "reject all" will appear before anything personalised runs.

AI assistants

If you use an AI assistant to read this site, your assistant's provider may retain what you ask it. This site never receives it. The agent tools registered on the pages take no personal data and send nothing.

Your rights

For anything we hold (a correction email), you can ask what we hold, ask us to correct or delete it, or complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ico.org.uk). Contact: corrections@agecheckindex.co.uk.
