No scores. No advice on avoiding checks. Independent register. Not affiliated with Ofcom, the ICO, or any service or vendor listed. ## Key facts (as of 2026-09-06)

- 23 UK online services, one record each: age-check status, what triggers it, methods, vendor, retention wording quoted from the service's or vendor's own page with the URL and the date checked, regulator actions, open points, dated changelog.
- 10 age-assurance vendors: methods, retention quoted from their own policy, certifications with expiry, regulator history, incidents, and a vendor-default-versus-deployer table.
- Where no retention period is published the record says exactly: "No published retention period found (checked [date])". The site never paraphrases retention.
- No scores or ratings. No content about avoiding a check. No user-generated content. Adult-service entries carry the domain as text and no outbound links.
- Ofcom's July 2026 report counted 69 million+ checks across 32 services (names redacted) in July to December 2025; facial age estimation was the most-offered method, then photo ID.

- "No active age check" means none was found on the date shown; several such services estimate age from account signals instead.
